Mesut Özgen conducts a lecture/workshop entitled "The Physiology of Guitar Playing and Training Programs" for the Santa Cruz Guitar Club:

Learn the biomechanical principles of guitar technique and how to design technical training programs based on exercise science. This workshop presents a structured approach to the technical training of guitarists, including a basic understanding of the physical movement patterns and related muscle groups. After a discussion of the basic training principles, the sample training program designs will be presented, and a selected group of exercises for fundamental skills in classical guitar playing will be worked on together with the participants.
