The FIU Miami Guitar Orchestra, directed by Mesut Ozgen, will present the first concert of the season, as part of the FIU GuitArt Series, featuring works by Leo Brouwer, Martin Pedreira Rodriguez, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Paul McCartney, Luis Milan, Alonso Mudarra, John Dowland, Jose Miguel Correa Suarez, and Los Indijos Tabajaras. Featured guest artists are Vindhya Khare, soprano; Kip Irvine, viola da gamba; Sean Hannon, bass; and Leonardo Cattani, flugelhorn.
