The FIU Miami Guitar Orchestra, directed by Mesut Ozgen, will present the first concert of the season, as part of the FIU GuitArt Series, featuring works by Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Antonio Lauro, Leo Brouwer, Astor Piazzolla, César Miró, Jordan Brownlee, and Mark Houghton, as well as traditional Andean and Russian songs.
